In appreciation of the wonderful community that we are part of, IGUFA SAFARIS has chosen to give back by partnering with INPACT, an indigenous social enterprise that has invested heavily in creating the right opportunities for rural youth to have healthy and productive futures.
Innovation Program for Community Transformation (InPact) is a non-profit Ugandan organization based in South Western Uganda that works to improve the health and wellbeing of young. Located in Kanungu district which also happens to be the home of the mountain gorillas, the Bwindi impenetrable forest.
INPACT applies a unique community transformation model that is designed to mobilize and support communities particularly the young people to apply their energies, creativity and innovation. Through the implementation of high impact interventions, INPACT is able to harness solutions to challenges and needs of the young people.
InPact believes that young Ugandans have a meaningful contribution they can make on issues related to their growth and development. Through their work with partners, they strive to provide strategic long-term youth focused initiatives that positively impact on the lives of young people.
INPACT’s core intervention areas span through four major sectors of: health, education, economic strengthening, and environment conservation. InPact empowers young people through equipping them with productive skills, creating spaces for advocacy around issues that concern youth, increasing access to youth friendly services and youth sensitive information and gender equity in all we do.
